Candy Heron (Angourie Rice) finds her new high school home filled with exciting people known as The Plastics; an elite clique of popular girls. However, things begin to change once Candy falls for Regina George (Renee Rapp) ex-lover Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney). Mark Waters' 2004 hit comedy film of the same name by Mark Waters was inspired by Rosalind Wiseman's 2002 book of Queen Bees and Wannabes; there is now also an established Broadway musical of this same title inspired by both.
